Madison's school had an American Showcase where students dressed up and made presentations as key figures in US history - including pop culture. Madison was Carol Burnett. Here is her last minute costume. She made the under-dress a few years ago as a Halloween costume. We added the purchased curtains a la Gone with the Wind. You should visit the Carol Burnett skit on Utube. It is a hoot!

Katy, I found this picture after I decided on a similar costume for this Halloween. Now that I have all the parts, I'm having trouble keeping the curtain rod from falling backwards off my shoulders. Do you recall having to do anything special to keep the costume on? Many thanks
